For the savvy shoppers out there Kroger has Rotel on sale for $0.42 no limit on number of cans. They also have Delmonte canned veggies on sale for $0.26 limit 20 cans. Also, Hunts canned tomatoes are $0.45 a can no limit.Great deals for food storage.

There was a coupon in last Sunday's paper for 45 cents off 3 cans of Hunt's tomatoes. It's in the Smartsource coupon insert from 1/23. Kroger doubles these coupons and your Hunt's tomatoes are only 15 cents each!

ReplyDeleteThank you for this blog and sharing your deals! I actually hit up both Mrs. Bairds and Kroger today! Because today is Thursday I was able to get 4 loaves of 9 grain wheat for $4!! And, my 4 year old loved helping pick out the .26 veggies. We don't eat a lot of canned veggies, but I figure they'll be great to donate. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI don't use canned veggies either but it is good to store some on hand for emergencies - and any surplus to the food bank is awesome. The local food bank is right by the bread store so its easy to drop some off!
Unless your kids are in school then save them because there will be a canned food drive every other month it seems!
